Don't you prime first and then put the tiles on Mike.
depends if there's a masaic border going up, i'll just prime the bottom half of the room and tile it then prime the top half. i dont like to leave the primer too long before tiling.i get the bottom half and all the mosaics up before starting the top

I thought there must be a good reason. I s'pose you could do like that member asked the other day about tiling from the ceiling down. That way it wouldn't be a problem.....

this time they're ceramics, i've done it now with a scraper as rich suggested. i was hoping there is a liquid cleaner i could put on a cloth to make it easier

I was hoping for the same easy fix when i chucked an entire bottle of the stuff all over the sanitary ware

One effective way to remove dried primer from tiles is to use a razor blade or a scraper tool. Gently slide the blade or scraper along the surface of the tile at a shallow angle, being careful not to scratch the tile. The dried primer should start to come off in flakes or small pieces. Make sure to keep the blade or scraper flat against the tile to avoid any damage.

Alternatively, you can try using a mixture of warm water and dish soap. Apply this mixture to the dried primer and let it sit for a few minutes to soften the primer. Then, use a scrubbing pad or a soft brush to gently scrub away the primer. Rinse the tile thoroughly with clean water afterward.

Always test any method on a small, inconspicuous area of the tile first to ensure it doesn't cause any damage or discoloration.
