hi folks,
ive removed old tiles from kitchen splashback, the walls are drylined. The actual tiles have come off easy. However, the old adhesive has remained and is an absolute T*** to remove. Have any of you guys any tips or advive or maybe suggest a tool to assist. ive been using a scraper and chisel but its taking forever. thanks for any advice.

the trick is>>>>>>>>>>>> dont scrape it off!!! give it a quick coat of rapid if it is very uneven, if its not bad use a deeper notched tile!!

Anyone ever tried these long handled wallpaper strippers that harris make, great for stripping off adhesive in no time:wink_smile:

Got a steamer and a long handled scraper, still need plenty of elbow grease though.

Just got the Gundlach 100mm scraper from Trade Tiler and I have to say its brilliant. Wish I had bought it years ago. This and a wallpaper steamer made short work off traking off old adhesive.
