REPOLISHING BLACK GRANITE TILES help please!

is there a build up on the granit just try running a stanly knife blade across (like a scraper flat to flat) across the surface to check for build up

A very sharp small razor blade held at a 90 degree angle to the floor will peel up any residue if that is the issue and will reveal the glossy stone underneath.
If that doesn't happen then likely it has become slightly pitted/etched and needs to be repolished.
It doesn't look too bad (what could be seen of it that is....nice pups)
