retiling chipboard floor

Tilers Forums Official Sponsors

Hi folks,
thank you for your help. My son asks if he would get away with screwing down any moving parts of the chipboard, and then glueing/screwing down a sheet of 6 mm ply. that would cover the whols floor in one go, and give a reasonable tiling surface. if thats an option, what would be best for glueing the ply, and for priming/sealing the ply?
thanks again:smilewinkgrin:

Its not an option if you want to do it right, all the above advice should be followed.
6mm ply has no place in a bathroom.
