just dug this thread up to save me starting a new one. my roto zip is the dogs it is an essential part of my tool kit and i use it nearly every day.

ironically enough, phil hobson was showing / demoing his today, very impressed.. tilers are needing as much tools as joiners nowdays..also, the benefit of it be dry hole cutter wins me. so thats on my list to tradetiler with a another dewalt d24000 110v..

ive had a bosch rotozip for about 6 years and its a brilliant bit of kit, the only complaint I had was no one stocked the bits but thats all changed now

i cut that tile with the standard ceramic bit and it will do trav.

do any you tilers use it on a day to day basis. could it replace your normal electric tile cutter for smaller jobs?

It is not designed for tile cutting.. it is for undercutting door mouldings ... polishing tile edges or even grout removal etc etc.. loads of uses but not tile cutting..

thanks for reply, so there wouldnt be much use for it would there if you say had the fein mulitimaster, or do you use regularly?

It is a very useful tool IMO and invaluable to a tiler.. think of all the floors you do and the back moulds to undercut... the machine has loads of uses..
