I was trying to get a job finished so was in a bit of a rush today...tiling bathroom walls and around a window. My phone rang so put a tile on the window sill that i was holding, and the bloody thing fell off and chipped the new bath :mad2: :incazzato::yikes: Customer was fine about it...got someone coming out next week to repair it. A really stupid mistake Bath was protected i thought. Must get one of those bath board things that tradetiler sells or a sheet of ply.

Andrew, one day I was finishing a marble floor, and the suction broke loose on the cup handle thing I was using to lift the tile into place....marble had to drop straight down and chip a piece that was installed the day before !:incazzato: I lost a couple hours by the time I chipped that one out and then sorted through the rest of the stone to find one that matched well enough to fit the veining on the rest of the floor.

I've chipped tubs before, as well. arrggh!

I had that happen to me about a year ago, if anyones interested or if it happens to you, you can actually by a repair kit and do it yourself, if i remember the kits about 25 quids. I now use a foam thing which I found and lay that in the bath and take my shoes off aswell if i need to stand in the bath lol.
This was a £1800.00 new bath all singing & dancing..lots of jets etc, so wanted a really good repair as i did not want to replace it.
