If you get intouch with Darren or Tracey from NETT they have just started to stock it and would send it down to you. Liquid form tho not the aerosol, but you get more value for your money with the liquid format......

Tile clearing house sell the aerosol for about £29 a can. There are a few TCH's in MAnchester, but not sure about your area - check out there website.

It's just my opinion, but, I've used Sealguard once and will not go near it in future.

Yes, it is very quick and easy to use but the finished job only looked average to me. I find that that taking the time to seal with HG or Lithofin, for example, gives a much nicer look to the stones and they do more to bring out the natural colour of the stones. You'll notice the difference in the finished job.

From my experience, it seems to create a film on top of the stone which is repellent to liquid - very much like wax on the panels of a vehicle.

Reading the literature it says:-
Sure Seal® dries invisible

Therefore, I wouldn't expect it to change the appearance of original tile.

I understand what you mean by bring out the natural colour of the stones, I recently clear varnished, some oak doors. Prior to the varnish they looked good, afterwards they looked amazing. You could clearly see the grain of the wood.

In the case of sure seal, I intend to just seal the grout lines, so it's the fact that it produces an invisible film that attracts me to the product. Any over-spray onto the tile shouldn't change the look ( I hope).
