A couple of questions chaps.

1. Can anyone recommend an slc with the best flow properties. I used the weber fibre reinforced flexible slc today and mixed exactly as per instructions and it seemed to be a little thick and reluctant to flow.

2. Does anyone have any feedback on the ardex fs grout range.

Yes Mark, fibre enhanced, good for ufh. and timber, all round good stuff. I use it on T&G prior to laying Hardie board etc.

Nice one Phil. Had to do some levelling today on a newly layed screed, it's the worst screed over ufh I've ever seen and the lads that did it have had 2 pops at it and still couldn't get it right. Prior to self levelling I had to grind half inch off 4 to 5 sq metre crown in the floor , filled two large gorilla tubs with what I took off.

i used webber the other day 5.25 litres water as per instructions it is quite thick , but managed to work it ok
would,nt be my first choice though , ultra or ardex

I've just used around 100 units of level it 2 on a job and was really impressed with it

i really like ardex and mapei for slc's.
good range, good customer support and both hold regular work shops on their products so you get a chance use them and see what you think.
