Have actually tried one for skimming...I haven't personally, they seem a bit of faffing around though.
I got it for the lads to plaster with , as site spreads keep saying how good they are , lads gave it me back, you still have to use your trowel to get your angles, so they said just may as well use a blooody trowel ;)
