Have you tried the lasers set at 90 degrees, much easier
Amazon.com: Stanley 77-188 S2 Laser Level Square: Home Improvement

Have a look at this one, costs about 40 quid[/quote

not as accurate as a piece of string on a large floor lol

but don't use a staff always measure from a datum line as you can add 1/2 mm easily here and there and over 100 mtrs that can add up also when you ping your lines make sure its in short lengths as the longer it is the more it can move on the bumps etc Pete

not bad for 40 quid m8
Costs £39.90 more and less accurate than my string it might be handy on a small floor when you are on your own and they have there uses but on a large one it ain't much help Pete

PS i haven't had to change the batteries yet

HI,

Thanks for all the replies and the input im due to do the actual job in next couple weeks,

My orignal plan was to work off the longest wall in main room staff it off nd see how i need to gig i into the other rooms

Failing that i was going to 345 from centre of main room and run through

Not being formally taught to be a tiler just lending a hand over years at building firm i used work when the joinery side was quiet i picked up a few tips. but at the end tend to do things my own way ;)

Thanks again for all input I enjoy tiling more than joinery these days
