I have a problem!
My auntie is having an extension built for my disabled cousin, the goverment is paying for it but she wasn't happy with the tiles that were being used(plain 10 by 10's)so she decided to ask me to get her some tiles from topps using my discount.I got her some 30 by 20 in white and she was really happy with them.
Now I couldn't do the tiling because the firm doing the extension had to do everything for insurance reasons. She phoned me up after it was done and looking at it she thought some tiles were a different shade.Looking at it it looks like some tiles are much more glassed than others, its very obvious.Looking at how there so scattered it looks like the tiles were all mixed up in the boxes and not that different batches(boxes) were mixed up.It probably wasn't so noticeable when they were being laid as there wasn't much light in the room and the light wasn't fitted.
Heres the problem, she supplied the tiles so its not the contractors fault but what will Topps say when we complain, the problem is very noticeable.Surely they're at fault for selling us boxes with mixed up tiles.the tiles are all up on the wall now so what do you think they'll suggest.
I don't want to get arsey cause they send alot of work my way.:huh2::huh2:
