Discuss Show Us YOUR Work Thread - Tilers Pictures in the Tiling Work Showcase Forum area at TilersForums.com.

Edit May 2024: THIS is a New Show Us Your Work Thread for 2024 Onwards

This is the new Tilers Showcase Forum where we want new tiling work added, with each tiling job you complete having a thread of its own so people can see what kind of work you do, and potential customers can find your work

I thought it was about time we had a thread dedicated to all members of Tilers forums to show us any work that they do.

Be it from installing a kitchen to garden decking. Show us your work! Get those pictures taken, but then do something with them! Actually add them to a thread and some facebook groups with your website link in them etc and it'll help spread the tile love. :)

If you have done a job then please do share it with us.

Pics are a MUST as what is the point of sharing a job without them..:smilewinkgrin:.

So if you do a job and you take a few pics then please do share it with us.

Lets make it a big thread for all to view and input in.

Thanks Dave ..:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Two of the three jobs i did this week. First is a set of steps tiled with a 300 x 300 special order Keope step tile, for a friends grandmother.

The second was a bathroom tiled with a 300 x 600 porcelain tile with tanked shower and bath, finished with Nicobond jasmine grout (a bit yellow for my taste, but the customers choice)

Just a few pics of the bathroom job I've just finished down here in the New Forest. The walls are done in 610x406 honed and filled travertine and the floor is 436x436 porcelain. For the walls, I pulled off the old tiles, plasterboard and some plaster and then re-boarded with 12mm Hardiebacker. The floorboards were covered with Marmox insulation panels and there's a 600W electric UFH mat on top of those.

All the tiles were stuck on with Weber SPF Rapid addy and grouted with Weber Fine Flex in limestone. The travertine was sealed with LTP colour enhancing sealant before and after grouting.

Lifting all those tiles upstairs has just about finished off my back so now I'll take a couple of days off to fix the van (rear suspension's given up :mad2:).

Thank you all for your generous comments, gentlemen. It took me three and a half weeks to demolish the original bathroom and then build this one. Of that, about 6 days was tiling or at least tiling related. ie. Boarding the walls and floor and setting the UFH mat. I'm worried that I'm still much too slow. There's about 22m2 of travertine and 6m2 of porcelain on the floor. Does six days seem reasonable or do I need to accellerate substantially?
