Edit May 2024: THIS is a New Show Us Your Work Thread for 2024 Onwards

This is the new Tilers Showcase Forum where we want new tiling work added, with each tiling job you complete having a thread of its own so people can see what kind of work you do, and potential customers can find your work

I thought it was about time we had a thread dedicated to all members of Tilers forums to show us any work that they do.

Be it from installing a kitchen to garden decking. Show us your work! Get those pictures taken, but then do something with them! Actually add them to a thread and some facebook groups with your website link in them etc and it'll help spread the tile love. :)

If you have done a job then please do share it with us.

Pics are a MUST as what is the point of sharing a job without them...

So if you do a job and you take a few pics then please do share it with us.

Lets make it a big thread for all to view and input in.

Thanks Dave ..:thumbsup::thumbsup:

chinese green sandstone

job done down on the south coast at bosham.
chinese sandstone 600 x 20mm running lengths .
you could flex the stone in your hands .
it also curled after laying .
strange brown colours came up through it when drying.
end look of stone after stainstop and multiseal was nice though.
will never fix this sandstone again though

Kitchen I did late last year, Customers sons ripped out kitchen for me. Thanks fellas.

I supplied and fitted full kitchen Solid oak doors, oak veneered carcases, solid oak cornices and light pelmets

Customer supplied appliances Siemens (not cheap) and tiles.

They asked me to go back and do they wallpapering. May I add that it was not my choice of paper.:yikes:

Stunning finish

Cheers Bubble, It was 80 miles from where I live, for a family friend, so I had to do the kitchen first week. Had it designed by my supplier and delivered and he charged me £60 delivery for the whole kitchen, worktops from my supplier in Leeds again £30 for delivery. Back second week to tile. Couldn't carry all my tools in one go, so had to go back home in-between.

80 miles!! Did you stay out there when doing it? I'd hate to be that far away and then realise you need a tool that you don't have with you. Yikes!

Yep, stayed at my step-daughters for both weeks and my wife joined me for 2nd week.

I went through the process of fitting the kitchen and made a list of how I do it and the appropriate tool used at each stage at home before I left and then just threw the garage in the back of the van. :hurray:

Looking good Dave, have you done that in a day?

I went in weds for an hr to SLC it , then set the floor out thurs and then had to wait for designer to ok the set out.. so laid the middle section thurs afternoon.. then the border today and infilled the outer edges and tiled another wall display in 50mm x 200mm brick tiles... so been a busy couple days tiling.

I thought it looked like it had been SLC'd. I was going to say you've been motoring to get that lot down in a day if you had
