Shower room floor - how to spread the tiles?

That's my first floor to lay so...

In the far end is toilet, on the left is sink and on the right will be shower glass door.

beware of the 9mm ply gonna be too much flex in the floor. I always use 18mm wbp screwed at 300 centres then cover with 5.5mm wbp screwed at 15mm centres.

Just to make it interesting I'd lay them on a covering of waterproof Tile backer board and to have impact in a diamond pattern! :smilewinkgrin:

Diamond pattern looks cool but customer wants to match checker from other bathroom.
