Not really sure what to advise here. Sounds like the Sika stuff is only flexible enough for wet underfloor systems? Maybe that should be stipulated on the packaging. The SLC is only really there to protect the cables from damage and help spread the heat more evenly so it may not be too critical. Maybe you should lay your tiles with a 2 part adhesive system like Keraquick and Latex Plus to give a bit more protection. Not saying it will prevent future problems but I can't think of much else apart from starting again, sorry.

Quite misleading isn't it.... might be best to hold off on the tiling and fire the UFH up slowly and see if it cracks.. if it does then start a fresh and if not, then turn UFH off again and tile as normal.

Yes Iam going to put the underfloor heating on this week and see if it cracks, The Sika technical guy said there is a chance it will crack, but if it does not do you think it will be safe to lay my tiles?
