Hi All

What size and formatt should I tile my small bathroom floor with, its only 3m sq? The walls are going to be tiled with 450 x 300 approx tiles in a 1/2 or 1/3 brick bond pattern.

Should I use 300 x 300 in a straight pattern or diaganol or brick bond?

Do I line up any grout lines (with the walls) or just lay them centraly in the room?

Is it advisable to use a slightly darker tile on the floor too?

Many thanks, cheers..............:8:

honest opinon, small bathrooms dont look good in my eyes with brick effect patterns and huge floor tiles as there is cuts everywhere

id opt for a 300 by 300 tile:thumbsup:

With kilty on the brick bond for walls in small ares using a big tile.... as for the floor, the bigger the better for me.

Thanks for the quick reply gents...........

So you don't recommend the large formatt for the walls then or is it just the brick bond pattern that you don't recommend?

The room is 1.8m wide x 2.4m long and 2.4m high, all wall are to be tiled......!!!

Cheers.........

I'd go for 450 x 450's on your floor and marry up the grout lines with your wall tiles (assuming there's no slither cuts on your bottom course of wall tiles)
