skirting tiles??

All Spanish tiles come with a matching skirting over here and are cheaper than cutting them from the field tile, time and waste they are normaly 80mm high.

I have to say

I hate skirting with tiled walls

Any room that's tile and finished with skirting always looks wrong to me. I like to see full tiled walls, to ceiling (no coving) and fully tiled floors.

I know in Spain etc that they run a course of thick polished marble etc on the floor. But I still dont like the look.

Check the pictures out at our good friends on porcelain tiles and see if you can find a skirting....

Am I just a grumpy old man today!

Grumpy old git like me, yeh but i do agree ime not keen on them either but a tilers dream dont have to be to fussy with your cuts and you get paid to put them on, we generaly dont use them in bathrooms though so its tile floor to plastered walls then skirting dont look that bad in an old Spanish house and their is a reason for them to keep foot, hoover and broom marks of the wall the Spanish word for skirting translates someyhing like row for feet.
