slate cladding without grout in shower room

Hi all,

We are all scratching our heads trying to work out how we apply natural slate cladding panels to a shower wall/area. The panels do not use grout and have about 2mm gaps between each piece of slate.

No tile merchant has been able to help us with the correct sealing technique. The supplier is useless.

They are 600 x 150 and we will be using a good water resistant flexible adhesive
