K Kevboy TF Apr 26, 2015 #1 Hi I need to lay slate tiles in a kitchen which is part solid floor and part floor boards. I will fix 6mm Hardibacker board over the floor boards and latex the solid part. Was wondering if it's necessary to lay Ditra matting before tiling?
