SLC Questions Concrete

Hi,
In the process of redoing my front porch (3m2) concrete base with DPM.

With regards to laying SLC fully within a rectangular area should I incorporate expansion joints around the perimeter or is this not needed due to the concrete base.

I doubt you'd need much there and if it cracked around the edge of such a small area it's not going anywhere. Just leave a gap for Silicon instead of grout when tiling and don't worry about the SLC let that meet the edge.
