Slow forum

The forum as a whole seems very slow compared to the plumbers forum for example, I have fast broadband and everything but it seems to take forever before you can scroll down to read new posts and makes navigating to other sub forums a tedious long drawn out process. So much so I very rarely stray away from the main tiling forum.

Are there any settings I can adjust on site to make it load faster? :mad2:

It just becuase us tilers arent as smart as you plumbers so we have to have things a bit slower so we can keep up or we get confused...:lol::lol::lol:

On a serious note though, I had some probs the other day but everyone else seemed fine, Dan checked out the server side and there were no probs.

I notice TF doesn't load each page as quickly as I would hope and other forums seems to load faster. I think it's just all the technicalities of the bells and whistles here on TF that stop it being as streamlined as other forums.

I agree since the upgrade loading is slower but bear in mind the huge amount of code TF contains with such a huge knollage base. I too would be a little sluggish.

What browser are you using, IE, FF other ? as said, have you done any spring cleaning of your pc, sometimes helps to clear temp files etc.
