we used to replace the floorboards in houses where corpses had laid for weeks or longer before they were found

the smell was something else and used to go home in the van with you, doesnt matter what you do , you can still smell it and it hangs on your clothes after they are washed

we used to get access the day before and leave an open can of oil based gloss in the room overnight and that killed the smell but it still stank when you cut into the timber as the body fats had soaked into it:yikes:

The smell of death is a hard one to get rid of. If you breath through your mouth you can taste it instead.

I had a job few months ago that had a really smelly soil pipe. Not somethingthat usually bothers me until i pulled the pipe out to cut it and there was an un polished on left in there. I had to chuck the pipe and put a new section in. That was rank and i got a bit on my finger. Stopped me biting in the traffic on the way home!
