we used to replace the floorboards in houses where corpses had laid for weeks or longer before they were found
the smell was something else and used to go home in the van with you, doesnt matter what you do , you can still smell it and it hangs on your clothes after they are washed
we used to get access the day before and leave an open can of oil based gloss in the room overnight and that killed the smell but it still stank when you cut into the timber as the body fats had soaked into it:yikes:
