there used to be an old meat rendering plant in Kendal, the smell was sickly sweet, and seemed to permeate into your pores if wind was in wrong direction. Makes me baulk thinking about it:thumbsdown:
 
Have you tried tying a lead weight to the zipper of your trousers? That should keep the flies down.
 
have you got to go back to that job Dave? try putting vaseline at the bottom of your nose before you go in. the smells should stop at the vaseline :thumbsup:

it works my late wife used to be a copper and attended laods of suspicious deaths, she alsways used vaseline on the top lip which hid the smell, i got a smack once for saying it was to keep her lady tache smooth lol

Ahh, poor Dave, yes, vaseline is really good, helps hayfever sufferers, too, stops the pollen get up the nose... and if you have some tea tree oil, put some of that just inside your nostrils as well, you'd have a job smelling anything apart from that.... but to be honest, I don't think I could work in there, urrrghh.... actually, nope, I just wouldn't...
