Sure did Mike (Bal Tad) TJ mentioned a few days ago, I have been back to many of those properties. Over the years, doing conservatories etc.

A lot of the original bathrooms, en-suites etc. are still are still looking brand new. A member of this forum (Ozboz} worked on these sites for 3 or 4 yrs or more, I am sure he will back me up on this.

My dad used to do the new build stuff, that was all tubbed gear, soverign mostly (brown tub with yellow lid). All cristal self spacing tiles but he would never grout the same day, he always went back.

Sovereign was rubbish Scott, I have never used it, but I have lost count of how many jobs I have stripped off and re-done after someone had used Sovereign, it was a disaster:yikes: Bal Tad was the real deal

Yep tiled grouted and polished all on one day, Phil was the boss, so I used to let him finish first !!!!! lol

when Richard ran Tileshapes it was all 2 part flexible nicobond mixed up as black as tar but never ever had a failure with it ,nicobond stopped making it as tileshapes were the only contractor using it in the end so they went over to something else bostick last time i worked for them dont know what they use now
