wish i had taken pic of under tile heating that a sparks had put down a few weeks back .. a 10 year old could have done a better job!
he had over laid the matting so there would have been hot spots in 6 places . run the kit under where frig freezer was going to stand. and rapped the end of the cable round a waste pipe coz he had purchased to bigger kit for the room . therm probe was no where to be seen ...
told customer that it all hads to be relaid by some how knows what they are doing and can read instructions supplied..
walked away ...:mad2:

I love it when we get around to dissing other trades.....

I agree that too many sparkies lack respect of our humble trade - I hate plastic sheathing in grout joints - also hate plaster in grout joints, wood shavings, solder, emulsion.... What is it about other trades that they invariably work inconsiderately of our tiled work?

Which brings us back to that shockingly shoddy electrical installation - yes you think there are a lot of dodgy tilers out there masquerading as professionals, now check out the electricians forum, plumbers forum etc. lol!!

Yep, a shoddy tradesman is rubbish no matter what their trade is.
