split face tiles skirting board or not

Hi I did a feature wall with split face slate tiles last year. The customer wanted the tiles to go from floor level to the ceiling which looked fine. Used small wedges to tweak the tiles as they varied slightly in size and being truly square. Also did a random bond so that you couldn't see the individual tiles.View attachment 96856
