Square or Round Notched Trowel

Tilers Forums Official Sponsors

I havnt see them before. Have you tryed them? Makes sence, would like to have a go and see what they are like to work with tho.

Without being too technical the coverage I receive is strictly related to the type of music I am listening to at any particular time!
I get a much better coverage using a Round trowel while being entertained by Radio 1 - and the Square trowel usually comes out of the tool box for Radio 2 or Magic.
:yikes::yikes::yikes::yikes: you don't listen to that old garbage do you TJ, tut tut, a refined autumnal person like thee sen. Now settle back in auld easy chair and put a bit of classic FM on:lol:

Only tried to it at a demo a few years ago but it seemed really good, the rep who was there said they couldn't get anyone to sell them in the UK. I suppose it would use a lot of adhesive like a tipped trowel but I'd rather guarauntee the coverage, saw another one from some American company that was similar.

Could imagine these using a LOT of adhesive and wearing out within a week.

Have you tried any of the new V notched ones Phil? I saw one by Karl Dahm that gave brilliant coverage.

Yeah penkhull, I have seen them. Not tried them yet, but hope to, got to keep up with the times m8. Thanks for that:thumbsup:
