Thanks for advice, whitebeam i have tried sending letters and calling around but have had no luck, as im working as a labourer for a small building company we do a bit of tiling so learn a bit by watching my boss etc and get to help by doing a few simple cuts so its all experiance but dont get to muck in as much as i would like so looking forward to starting my college course in feb, plus currently doing a plastering course so that will help me in the future with my tiling as well.

Hi Mark, Well aleast your've tried, but its good you have college course. It's good to hear someone at your age who's keen I think your probably a rare breed nowa days. So onwards and upwards and enjoy your work
