hi guys and girls i have decided to pursue another career, basicaly a few months ago i decided to start my own business and completed a tiling course that i thought was excellent. the thing is i kind of edged my bets because i i did not know anythin about tiling i also started window cleaning and that has taken off quicker than i could have imagined and you can not say to a potential customer that i can do the tiling next time it rains for a few days and i have discovered that trying to market the two together is not going to work. however i am not selling my tools as i have found that through word of mouth a few tiling jobs but i only take on small jobs at week ends etc. any way i will continue to contribute to the forum as i think it is brilliant every one is willing to help. and if any members want me to pass on work that i can not take on in central scotland just send me me your details and i will keep your details and pass it on
ps any one wants their window cleaned give me a shout

How's it been going. is there anyone else from our course on here. Sorry to hear you,re jacking it in, im still waiting to realy get started. Iwas behind you on the right side of the class.
i dont know if if theres any others but i am doing allright the window cleaning is really taking off and i just dont have enough time time to promote tiling and i can make just as much money. and all the marketing knowledge that we learnt is valid in any business as i am finding out
