Went to price a domestic job to day for a lady.
Goes into the kitchen which is what needs tiling and open my tape to start measuring unfortunately my thumb was on the side of the tape and so the tape sliced me open good style.
So there i am blood spurting when the lady pulls a first aid box out the size of a tea chest and says let me have a look she then proceeds to put oitment and all sorts of potions on my thumb, then a plaster followed by a bandage,and advises i get it checked at the hospital(fat chance of that).
So anyway ,i measure up and give her a good price off £20m2 labour only(as there is actually nothing in there just an empty room full tiled walls and floor ,one window ,one door and seven sockets)33m2 in total so i says £660 for the job,she says is that your final quote i says yes ,she says cant you do it cheaper cause i bandaged your hand?i laughed and said no .
She then says well i have had a better quote,i say well good luck get them to do it then,she then says well okay when can you do it i say the end of next week she says ok.
I'm quitting tiling and becoming an adult movie star,i can't take the grief anymore:lol:
