Stuttering short circuit in a single circuit (several sockets)? How to identify short circuit? Discussion ThreadStuttering short circuit in a single circuit (several sockets)? How to identify short circuit? Electrical Advice

Hello.

There is a persistent short circuit on a circuit (a fuse switch).
All plugs have been unplugged.
All sockets are free.

I have continuous beeping continuity and “30 Ohm” resistance on several sockets.
I also have 30 ohms on one outlet, but a stuttering beep.
Can I narrow it down by testing all the sockets?
Then I'll take the trouble to test all the sockets with the continuity tester, transfer the behavior to the house sketch and upload it here.
I also measured the distribution board.
The stuttering beeping is irregular.
How can that be?
If there is no current on the sockets, no device can cause such stuttering short circuits.
Stuttering short circuits suggest dripping water, and there was also a leaking roof.
But that was several weeks ago now, and the roof has been patched.
It no longer drips from the ceiling.
If it was water, it should have dried out.

Any ideas?

Thanks.
