Again thanks for the feedback.
Sorry I haven't posted for a couple of days. Been hectic at work:thumbsdown:

Haven't decided exactly what tiles but looking like porcelain. I'm guessing stone is out for me due to the subfloor issues???? Any recommendations?

Yep, the break in substrates is a stright line (I'm hoping this is good news???)
Going back to the movement joint - i've had a look at the schluter website and they do a 5mm version which I think would look ok as the grout wouldn't be far off that. Is this going to be adequate????
