Ive been nosing at some of the pics peeps post and sadly my pictures suck...(its not my tiling its my camera honest!)..maybe I should leave the lens covered in gear tho...

anyone got tips on taking pics of their work? cameras?

I look at some and they have great definition look professional almost...

If I am taking photos on site I usually just use my phone but take loads and loads of shots. Last time was a couple of weeks ago I took 64 shots - only used 3. I think work on the law of averages - the more you take the more are bound to come out ok.....

I keep an old digi camera in my van.............but if you take any shots to use for a website etc etc............you do need to get the ok from the customer..........data protection and all that

always make sure there's nothing personal in the background...family pictures...notes and messages on fridges etc....

I have the Nikon D40 (Budget SLR)

Best price £220 quid

And it takes great pics just a bit bulky to carry.

One of the best shots I took was (dont laugh)

4.jpg

This bath tap!

It looked almost professional (to my rubbish eyes!)

And I took it on a job when we drill a hole in a bath for this tap.

Thing about the SLR's is they are very well priced and you get a lot of cam for your money
