Alright chaps,

I may have a job coming up tiling outside steps. The steps are over a basement area which is getting wet from the steps leaking.

I intend to tank the steps prior to tiling,I need to know what kind of tanking I can use outdoors, I'd imagine the everyday tanking solutions we use for shower areas are not appropriate but could be wrong.

I could go down the Schluter matt method but that seems a ball ache on steps, prefer a paint on gear TBH.

Any ideas?

Cheers.
