Can't exactly measure tile cuts etc ..can you with that...

What made you all choose the Fat Max? the reason I got mine was rather shallow, instead of drawing straws we sometimes have comps to see who can extend their tape measure the furthest without it dropping, the loser often has some sort of forfeit to pay, i.e. hump a load of rubble bags out or make the tea etc etc. When I saw the extended width of the blade on the Fat Max I thought I was in heaven and never going to lose again, sadly they have become quite popular so my advantage has been deminished although the fact it turned out to be a fantastic tape has been an added bonus

i bought 2 stanley blade armour 5m tapes months ago,brilliant and silver:smilewinkgrin:.
i dropped one down a toilet pipe in an occupied house 3 months ago ! that was one gone.
i'm still using the other,will need change soon,i also have a 7.5m mapei tape for measuring up:smilewinkgrin:

Guys if u want to improving your measuring accuracy use a steel ruler, ive got a 30 and a 40 cm.
hardley ever use the tape its mostly for setting out.

Also much quicker if u scribe and cut as well

Steel rulers dont wear out either.
