Just to let everyone know,

Looks like we should be getting our first delivery of the 2.5mm at the end of next week, if people want to see the 2.5mm out there then let me know. We are getting lots of interest from company's that fit stone worktop in kitchens, they tell me that they apply Silicon purley as a cosmetic finish and the 2.5mm cornetape gives a much finer joint than anything currently available and it saves loads of time on the job.

Hey Ho,
Andy:thumbsup:

Am not getting his cornertape, i wanna know why is it so expensive. Bit of prectice you can do the same job on a quid. If it were a little cheaper i might give it a go

Hi tysfoot,

Why is a dyson hoover exspensive? Because its the best, reliable and it does a much better job than all the other cheaper alternatives. :hurray:

Sometimes you have invest a little more to reap rewards. If using CT saved you 30mins work time on each job, what would that add up to over the year. More time in the pub or on the golf course or with your kids or even doing more work to earn a bit more, you decide.:grouphug:

I thought that you can do the same job on a quid, why would you need to give it a go, even if it was cheaper.

Only joking with the above, if you have the time please come and see us at the HBR show, have a go with it then decide, we'll show you how. You will quickly see that CT does have to be seen to be believed, you can even bring your tool bag and maybe show us a thing or two about Silicon.

Best regards

This corner tape ive been reading about i'm curious to how it works?
Does it stick on top of the tiles/bath top edge and does it bend round wash basins and more so is it water tight?
:huh2: .

Hi Daywalker,

I have a feeling that you may have mis-understood what cornertape is, take a look at the demo video at www.cornertape.co.uk click on the link for 'DEMO VIDEO' then post your thoughts,

Best regards

£20 for a 25 mtr roll

I would not pass judgement till u have used it

Gud product rate it highly

There r 2 types of tilers out there there 1 ones who have been tiling years and years and can Silicon well

then there r those who can't Silicon to save their lives ie Me

If u were in Sheffield i could show u a live example of how the corner tape works

As it says it produces a perfect Silicon finish which no tiler can achieve through the finger and a bit of spit or wot ever people use.

As for thew question y is it so expensive that is a gud one and am with u on that.

I mainly ever do small jobs where it is used on worktops etc

Supose on a long run it wud soon add up

Few weeks ago i got the customer and made a point of showing her that i did not spare any expense on her tiling

Little things like that set some of us apart.

I am not the cheapest tiler far from it but never used second rate products.

All the best

Raja..wots the difference from a council estate job to a private estate job....arn't they both paying customers and both deserve a pro finish..????...

Didnt mean it like that meant some times am on a job where the customer just wants the cheapest quotes and tiles slapped on

U took it the wrong way DAVID

I stand corrected and shall delete my wording

Have re read it and c ur point
