Big-Smudge
£20 for a 25 mtr roll
I would not pass judgement till u have used it
Gud product rate it highly
There r 2 types of tilers out there there 1 ones who have been tiling years and years and can Silicon well
then there r those who can't Silicon to save their lives ie Me
If u were in Sheffield i could show u a live example of how the corner tape works
1. As it says it produces a perfect Silicon finish which no tiler can achieve through the finger and a bit of spit or wot ever people use.
2. As for thew question y is it so expensive that is a gud one and am with u on that.
I mainly ever do small jobs where it is used on worktops etc
Supose on a long run it wud soon add up
Few weeks ago i got the customer and made a point of showing her that i did not spare any expense on her tiling
Little things like that set some of us apart.
I am not the cheapest tiler far from it but never used second rate products.
All the best![]()
Hi Raja,
Hehe, i think you answered your own question about why its expensive in your statement in 1. which i've numbered above . But don't forget that its also the time spent, or not spent, cleaning up a mess of a bodged job that the customer has called you back to put wright. (not you by the way Raja, cos you use cornertape, hehe)
In answer to your 2. Again, i would have to say this, its 80p per metre at SRP, so 3 metre's of splash back @ £2.40, that sounds cheap to me, especially if you don't get stressed doing it, you'd probably save that money in not having to use kitchen roll to clean up the mess that people normally get into, as well as saving time on the job, hehe.
As you know, because you've used it, if people think about the bigger picture then they will start to understand what we and you are saying.
Some people use cheap as chips tile adhesive, some use the best money can buy, if anyone comes up with the answer to that one, then please let me know, we'll be rich.
Best regards to ya Raja
Andy
