Hi pjtiler,

Yes - the cavity in the pedestal is very narrow and only just wide enough for the pedestal trap. As I was using chrome pipe with the stainless flexi tap connectors I didn't think it was too much of a problem aesthetically.

it is his first job and he has done very well ,but that is a good point you make about the pipes and something he can think about on his next job.

I totally agree. Unfortunately there would have been a conflict with the waste pipe together with issues with the stud wall construction. I would have much rather put all of the pipework in the walls, just as the feeds and waste for the bath are through the new stud wall :grin:.

But as you say - ALWAYS LEARNING.
