The dreaded PVA.

My problem is I have to start a job today, the customer has primed the walls with PVA:yikes: How do I remove it? so I can prime with SBR, sand it? wash with water? new one on meThanks for any suggestions.

i would say suger soap or sand it off

Sanding to create a keyable surface is the better option.

Over wetting to remove it could damage the surface structure strength,.

I would say sand it down to be sure you are rid of all the evil PVA
