O
Old Mod
So this is it, the very latest large format cutter out there, released just a few weeks ago by Raimondi.
Standard kit is the two 1.7Lm rails, carriage and pliers, all wrapped up in a padded bag.
The 1Lm rail is an optional extra.
There’s one more missing piece, however, it’s not even released yet, but it’s on order for when it is. That will be the accessory that will either make it amazing, or just another cuter.
We shall see.
It looks similar to the flashline, which I used to own, major difference being that this has integral suckers, which work exceptionally well, and the actual profile of the rail, and that is for a reason.
It is definitely more heavy duty than the flashline, but not as robust feeling as the sigma (which I still have) or its predecessor, the Freecut.
First test on a 600 x 600 x 10mm piece of Florim, a 45mm strip cut, passed without incident, although the supplied pliers are for up to 6mm.
Heavy breakers were used to separate it.
More to come.......
