Worlds smallest mistake in a tiling project!

Still annoying tho.

Would have been 100% perfect too...

To help the tiler I showed him this picture... I did it to show the tiler the picture of the feature tile and how I wanted it

(See below shop image)

But he said it was not possible... At the time the tiler said the shower tray at 900mm was too wide for this look so he needed to put a sliver in to pack it out.

I Wish he had tiled the feature tiles right into the wall like the photo above.

When the tiler had finished the wall DID look cemetrical because there was a sliver either side.

But.... And here comes the but.... Once the shower frame was installed the sliver on one side was obliterated and so now it does look wrong!

If he had tiled into the corner then there would not have been a problem. It would have looked like photo above !

Maybe I should have been more insistant !!

yeh you could of simply had 2 vertical grout joints with nice even sized tiles but mate if your happy with it love it the actual tiling isn't bad so I wouldn't get down about it

Basic. I always set out according to finished items, not just walls and shower trays

Yes I think you are right. There was quite a bit of setting out faux-pars and the only things that seemed to go right was when I took the time to work out what I wanted.

The only time things seemed to go on the bonk was when I left them to it or when I didnt think about the issues enough. For example the lights could have been better placed!

There is a light direct over the sink but now it burns my bald old head because the ceiling is quite low at 2m.
