Why don't tin- can food suppliers all put ring-pull lids on all can's ! this would make life easier and we would no longer need them tin openers :smilewinkgrin:

Why do people spend ages washing their hands after going to the toilet, using anti- bacterial soaps and auto dispensers only to have to touch the tap handle with clean hands that is now covered in germs from only 5 seconds ago when you turned it on before washing your hands...... go figure! (My 5 yr old daughter pointed this out the other day!)

another one that I just cant grasp, ice caps and icebergs melting at the poles...gonna raise sea levels...how?, we all know that when you freeze water it expands, so how come if you thaw it is it gonna expand more? especially when 90% of an iceberg is under water?, surely if it was gonna thaw it'd shrink volume and sea levels would drop..?
