i've got a 27m2 porc floor job to start on sat which will be made up of 600x600, 600x300 and 300x300. has anyone got any drawings of a pattern that i could follow as this is the 1st one i've done with these sizes.
Hi Kev, if the tiles work to a module ( which they should) I would say the world is your oyster, set pattern, random, ask your customer, and lay a few dry to give them a choice. Good luck.
looks tricky, but i suppose once you get a few rows in, they fall in place. it's a few years since ive done anything with different size tiles. mines is a nice square living room on a new build which shouldn't be bad
I think most multi tile sets are designed to work to what retailers refer to as an "Opus" pattern. It depends on how many different sizes you have but generally a 3 tile pattern is called Opus, and a 4 tile pattern is called a Grand Opus. There are even some 5 tile versions.
Here is a link to Mandarin Stone's versions. Opus patterns.
Stewarts version looks very defined as a pattern. That's good if the customer has a well ordered view of things, but most Opus patterns try to look more random, although if you get the randomness of their pattern wrong it means lifting a few tiles lol.
