which way do you like to insert the trim when tiling around a window and why?

Ilike to tile the facing tiles then the reveals and insert the trim into the reveals.

For some newbies who find the trim a little tricky then try my method and cut your trim by standing it up in the mitre box when doing the cuts (all three lengths) ...great finish every time.:dizzy2:

How do you guys and gals do it?

I usually slot the trim behing the tiles on the face of the wall as apose to the reveal, dont know why, i just do it that way.

Im going to try your way though, i like to say that i've tried everything at least once, who knows you may even convert me. :27:

Really......:yikes:..

Bri..trim inside reveals.....

I did a job recently where the customer wanted tiles on all the reveals, including the top one. I was in effect having to tile a ceiling!

All the trims were fixed to the reveals. It seemed simpler this way as the reveals were tiled last. However, the last job I did of 2008 involved sill and sides, but not the top. However I still had to finish the tiles coming down to the window.

TBH I messed up a little here but managed to get around it with a bit of Silicon profiling - the top trim was fixed against the wall itself, where as the bottom and sides were fixed against the reveal. This is where I find out that the trade trim from CTD was not a perfect quadrant - you'll know what I mean, the mitres didn't work:incazzato:. So I managed to overcome this with a small Silicon profile.

Ok....

This one time.... just for laughs whilst tiling a bathroom in plain white 6" x 6" ceramics, i decided that me being a bit crazy i'd put an entire row on upside down. Oh how laughed, best thing was, the lady of the house came back and didnt even notice, how stupid and un observant,

PS, Just because you know now how crazy i am doesnt mean im coming to your special cottage deep in the forest with all your special friends, my car keys and a bowl, (im looking your way Dave!)

Also on a lesser note, i once had sex in the upstairs seating area of a fast food resteraunt, whilst riding a unicycle on a bouncy castle, juggling and reciting the alphabet backwards, in chinese, whilst holding my breath...... But thats something most people have probably done on occasion.
