i must admit,i dont do them because i cant get them spot on,no matter what i try so i use the quadrant pieces.Far less hassle

I recently had a job that required 7 off 3 way mitres. I chose to use the Genesis pre-formed (plastic) corners and it saved loads of time and stress.

Had another job where there was only 3 off 3 way mitres (chrome trim) and chose to fully mitre those as the trim was a good quadrant and therefore easy to do.

If you are using cheap trim that is not a perfect quadrant then you will always struggle to get a decent 3 way mitre.

well they get my vote, if its a choice between cutting,trimming ,offering up , or just pop in the bit made for the job, for 12p..........its too easy

Schluter trims and corner pieces are excellent but they are fairly expensive, they do internal and external corners and leave a really professional finish..

No wind up, i hate the stuff, havent got a problem fitting, mitres etc i just think it looks Cr--.

just tried using these 3 way mitre corners this weekend from ctd (8mm for 13p each)
looks loads better than cutting them yourself but be carefull what trim you buy to use with them as the profile on most trim varies quite a lot.
saved a stack of time too!
