I am doing a job at the min for a large firm sub contracting, I was worried about load weights at the start of the job and told the site manger, after finding the post on here today I am even more worried, I am fixing 600 x 300 porcelain onto plaster board walls fixed to metal stud work with 12 screws in each board. Can the boards take this weight?

I would fix up the studs at 300mm intervals and then over board again to take out the flex.. why they build walls like that is beyond me..

Yes I have 20 bathrooms to do within this building did the first two this week and there is a boxing in the corner and in one of the rooms the board was boncing the site manger said to just get and do it but I am really worried about this (sorry if the spelling is wrong)

I know it is hard and against what you know is right,, but that is how they build some houses... just don't lean against them once tiled.. lol..

Probably 50mm stud and it needs more screws...I've seen 15mm boards used to make it more rigid.
