Hi People
Just come of the phone to a guy(after half an hour) trying to get me to sign up for the tilers register, he reckons i,ll get up to 30 leads a month around my area, sort me a website and all for the bargain price of £299 one off then £60 a month after that. Anybody think this is just another get rich scheme for them, or is it worth doing, he,s calling back at 5.30 so your thoughts on this would be most welcome.
Thanks Andy

Total waste of time. It doesn't rank for "tiler in xxxx" anywhere.

FindTrustedTradesmen.co.uk ranks 1st for MANY area's Including "find a tiler".

Register yourself on the FOR FREE. And NEVER EVER PAY for a website listing. EVER.

Especially a new one like that.

So you can't register on tiler register, Dave Carr asks you to register on tiler space. Then when you do you can't register without a phone number. Clearly then he's calling the tilers asking them for money?

What's that all about?

Thats wot i suspected, just had to get your thoughts, took me ages to get him off the phone, he could certainly talk the talk so i,ll sack it then!!!
:stupid: No i,m with tilers forum... Cheers Lads

One tip I learnt early on; a professional (like those from Yell.com) will take a firm hint and end the call. Idiots like Customer Street and Tilers Register are too pushy. You've got to talk over them - be polite - and hang up, even if they are still waffling. Remember- your time is your money. Don't let morons in call centres cost you!

Tiler Register isn't anything. It's not a business. Customer Street are UFindUs. Who I believe changed their name due to the amount of bad feedback it had.

Tiler Register is Dave Carr. He's a nobody from Nottingham. He's starting to get a bad name for himself already it seems.
