Hi can anyone help?
have to price up a job and part of it is to tile a conservatory floor on top of the existing tiles. The customer was told this was ok to do by another tiler so that is how she wants it doing. I have been told that what i need to do is prime the floor then just use the normal flexi cement rather than using the 2 part adhesive. Can anyone advise me if this is the case and if so what to use.
By the way just using ceramic tiles on the floor

cheers

If the existing tile is unglazed then you can go onto it with a normal flexi adhesive. If it's a glazed ceramic then you need to go with something like rapid set/gold star with an admix.

(Interestingly the BAL data sheet doesn't mention anything about priming surface first)
