Hi All - first post and all

After some advice - looking to tile the kitchen diner and at present either natural or ceramic or even wood but haven't decided yet.

Theres a few hurdles:

1)Floorboards have a bounce in them - I take it I need to remedy this either by looking and fixing joist movement first - then replacing the floorboards or using new 25mm ply?

2)Depending upon the above - I will now have a bounce free floor with either 25mm ply or boards and then concrete for the remainder of the room - how do I go about sorting that otr for tiling?

a)Board the entire lot in 12mm ply - if so how would I attach the ply to the concrete (id do screw every 15cm or so?)
b)Leave the boarding as now I may have 25mm ply in place of floorboards and just tile onto whats there
c)use some sort of other boarding over the ply and concrete such as no more ply, hardiebacker or prowarm sheets

Im just a bit confused as to which is best to do and which would provide easiest route to flat surface ready for tiling

Can you help?

you should not bridge substrates unless it can be prove that they do not act independently. As you have wood abutting concrete it is almost certain they will be independent floors in which case the joint between the two should reflect through your tiles.
