Been asked to tile above an arga.
The wall is brickwork with render. It will be switched off 48 hrs before tiling,to cool.
Tile will only be 130 x130 x 6 ceramics.Qty of 18 or 27. (2 or 3 Rows).
The wall is more hot to the touch than warm. The flue is 30mm from the wall ( very hot ). The arga is in constant use.

1. Is there a coating that can go on the wall?

2. Is a normal powdered addy & grout going to be good enough ?

3. How long before it can be switched back on ? (7 days ?)

Thanks. Del.
